Are the Hitch Heads for the Fastway E2 The Same for the 800 lb and 1,000 lb Trunnion Bars
Question:
On the e2 equalizer hitch is there physical difference on the head for 800 vs 1000 tw ? Currently have triouion bars. Problem having is that the ball moves on head getting trailer on and off in driveway. Have used the e2 for many years and been problem. Think started after got 2018 2500 ram and sits higher. Didn’t know if there was different option on hitch.

No, the Replacement Head for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems # FA92-02-1255 is the same for both the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0800 and the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-1000.
If there is a problem with the ball moving, then your system isn't level which makes sense since you mention the truck you have now sits a bit higher.
Check out the FAQs linked below to get a bit more information on what you'll need to do to get your system set up correctly.
