Solution for a Shank on a Equal-i-zer WDS That Drags When Backing Up
Question:
Currently have flagstaff micro lite 25fkbs using 2018 Dodge Ram 2500. Presently using e2 equalizer hitch. Problem is when backing in driveway both of hitch drags on pavement and thinking that causes the ball joint to move bolt washer. Would different hitch make difference

Yes, using a shorter shank for your WDS would eliminate the dragging you're experiencing. To get you set up, I'd need to know the current length of your shank, the tongue weight of the shank, and approximately how much shorter you'd wager it'd need to be.
For instance, if you had the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4214 you'd definitely see a benefit in your situation if you used the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4100.
