Should a Malone MegaWing or SeaWing Be Used For an Eddyline Sit-On-Top (SOT) Caribbean Line Kayak

Question:

I have an Eddyline SOT kayak in their Caribbeanfoot line. From what I understand, even the SOT style kayaks by Eddyline have a relatively arched hull, compared to most SOT style kayaks. Would the Malone wing style carrier work for my Eddyline, and if so, besides considering weight bearing capacity is the Seawing or Megawing carrier a better choice for the shape of my hull?

From what I could find on the Eddyline sit-on-top (SOT) kayaks in their Caribbean line, they do not look to be too drastically arched. Both the Malone MegaWing # MPG207 and the Malone SeaWing # MPG107MD would work great for the style of your kayak.

The Malone MegaWing # MPG207 and the Malone SeaWing # MPG107MD actually have the same style and dimensions. The main difference is the MegaWing has a slightly beefed up construction that allows it to carry a kayak that weighs up to 150 lbs. while the SeaWing can carry a kayak up to 75 lbs.

Even the biggest option in the Eddyline SOT Caribbean kayak line only weighs 50 lbs. So the Malone SeaWing # MPG107MD would be more than sufficient for your needs.
