What is the Best Gooseneck Hitch for a 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500?
Question:
I have ordered a 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 that I am hoping to pick up in a few weeks. I didn't get the tow package bc it would've taken longer. Which gooseneck hitch set up is the best for my truck?

Congrats on the new truck! The best gooseneck hitch for a 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Hitch item # BWGNRK1020. It fits both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths and the diesel models. This system includes custom fit brackets that bolt into existing holes in your Silverado's frame. The only drilling you will need to do is in the bed when you add the holes for the receiver and the safety chains.
This underbed system allows you to store the 2-5/16" hitch ball upside down and inside your bed when you are not using it. This gives you full access to your bed when you're not towing. The locking handle is easily accessible inside your driver's side rear wheel well.
I have linked an installation video below to help you get this hitch set up.
To make towing with a gooseneck trailer easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C58FV. This harness puts a 7-way and a 4-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the 7-way on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your gooseneck trailer easier and more convenient.
