Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2005 American Revolution LE Motorhome

Question:

Hello, im in need of a trailer brake controller for a 2005 American Revolution LE motorhome on a Spartan Mountain Master chassis. I also need the wire to connect the brake controller to the factory harness plug. My trailer is 3 axles. I would prefer a controller that doesnt just work as i slow down, but one i can set to a certain setting and leave it if available. Thank you.

I recommend using the Curt Discovery NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C84VV with the Universal Wiring Adapter # C51515 for your 2005 American Revolution LE motorhome. The Discovery NEXT is a time-delayed controller so it sends pre-determined power back to your trailer brakes instead of activating them proportionally.

I couldn't find a pinout or connector style that matches exactly with your motorhome so you'll need to splice in your connections by matching the following wire colors from the pigtail adapter to the functions on your motorhome:

Blue - 7-Way Output to Trailer
Black - 12V Power
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed)
