Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For Towing a inTech Sol Horizon Rover with 2023 Honda Pilot
Question:
Do you know if the factory hitch on the 2023 Honda Pilot Trailsport is compatible with the Andessen WDS hitch? We would be using it with an itech Sol Horizon Rover Pq. **Please tell me if there is any problem or which one is better for this Pilot 2023 and the Sol Horrison RV I dont know the reasons, but I have heard that some problems are not supported by weight distribution systems. Thank you

Your 2023 Honda Pilot is capable of using a weight distribution hitch. For your inTech Sol Horizon Rover you will need to contact the manufacturer with your VIN information to ensure the frame is safe to use with a weight distribution hitch. This is due to the frame being constructed of aluminum and varying in construction from year to year.
As for the Andersen weight distribution I know they have several great reviews but every time I have dealt with them they always had sway issues which could not be resolved. I recommend using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET as they are one of the best bang for the buck weight distribution hitches available. They have been around for years and manufacturers of other brands still try to compare themselves to Equal-i-zer since they have earned the reputation for being the best. You will need the 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 to match your trailer coupler.
