The best gooseneck hitch for a 2023 Ram 1500 is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Hitch item # BWGNRK1319. It fits the 5-1/2' and 6-1/2' bed lengths with or without the diesel engine. This system includes custom fit brackets that bolt into existing holes in your Ram's frame. The only drilling you will need to do is in the bed when you add the holes for the receiver and the safety chains.

This underbed system allows you to store the 2-5/16" hitch ball upside down and inside your bed when you are not using it. This gives you full access to your bed when you're not towing. The locking handle is easily accessible inside your driver's side rear wheel well.
