Is There A Version Of The Jack-It Bike Rack That Has a 65lb+ Per Bike Capacity

Question:

Are you aware if Lippert plans to manufacture a Jack it bike rack with a higher load weight capacity? One to carry the weight of e-bikes? 65+ pounds per bike.

To my knowledge Lippert does not plan on making a new version of the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers # LC429756 with a capacity high enough to haul a 65lb+ bicycle. It's a lot of weigh to try and lift up well over you head and then try to mount so it's not really practical.

If you're trying to haul heavy bikes on your 2022 Forest River Sandstorm TT you would need to install a trailer hitch and use an approved bike rack. If you measure the distance from the inside of the frame rails we can find an adjustable hitch, like part # 13703 which can fit a 22" to 72" wide frame width.

Once you have a hitch you can use a rack like the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # S94FR, which is rated for use on a travel trailer and has a 70lb per bike capacity.
