Is It Possible To Power The Lippert Electric Trailer Jack Off Of A 7-Way Connection
Question:
Im a new owner of a KZ Escape 231bh and am looking for an electric tongue jack with a 7 way plug to connect to my 2022 Toyota Tacoma as the power source. Im interested in the Lippert model #285318. Does it come with an adapter to connect to the 7 way plug or do I need to buy an adapter? Do you have any other recommendations for another tongue jack that will work? Thanks.

The Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate # LC285318 doesn't come with 7-way plug to power the jack but you can just wire it to the 12v hot lead of your trailer's 7-way cable to power the jack off of the 7-way instead of the trailer battery. If you follow the 7-way cable on the trailer it will lead to the junction box where you can test for the 12v hot lead of the 7-way.
Lippert also offers the Lippert Power Stance Electric Trailer Jack w/ 7-Way Plug # LC89VR, which comes with an adapter to plug into the 7-way or run off of the trailer's battery.
