Troubleshooting Peterson 440 Trailer Tail Lights Stop/Turn Signals Not Working
Question:
I have Peterson 440 trailer lights on a new to me, trailer. The running lights work on both sides, but NO signal or Stop lights at all. Other trailer lighs have had ground problems , but since the running lights work, I think the ground is good. Suggestions?

It sounds like the ground is not your issue on the Peterson Tail Lights # 432400 & # 432200 since your running lights are both working. You will want to start by testing the power using a Test Light # PTW2993 to ensure you are getting power to the tail lights. This will help you to determine if you need to identify why power is not getting to the lights or if it could be a bulb/ground issue.
