Correct Wiring Adapter for a Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller on a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
Hi, thank you in advance. Im looking for a brake controller harness for a 2021 chevy silverado 1500 lt. I have a Tekonsha prodigy p2 controller and looking for the harness adapter that goes to my truck. I have the one it come with truck but is little too short, Im little confuse thats why Im asking the experts. By searching it show me the Tekonsha 3064-p is the one I need but by checking the wiring location on plug side the one connecting to truck I see is different than the one it come with truck. The one of truck if you see it from the back it has right hand side bottom row blue wire top upper row red upper row third space white upper row seventh space black The 3064-p has : If you see it from the back it has right hand side bottom row blue wire top upper row black upper row third space red upper row seventh space white. Can you tell me whats the difference or which is the correct harness I need for my truck. If you need more information or is little confuse let me know. Thank you again

The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3064-P is the correct plug in harness for your Prodigy P2 in your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
As far as it being too short, It absolutely should not be an you saying that makes me think you might be looking at the wrong thing. You should find your harness located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
The adapter is plenty long for where it needs to go, so if it's too short you're either looking at the wrong thing or your brake controller is too far away.
