Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 7,400 lbs Trailer and a 3,000 lbs Trailer
Question:
I have a 2016 Ford F150 and I need assistance in finding a hitch with weight distribution. I am going to tow a 7400 lbs camper with 761 lbs of hitch weight. with a 2 5/16 ball, and also a small Runabout boat, no more than 3000 lbs with a 2 inch ball. My truck is a F150, with the 5.0 V8, 4x4, 3.55 geared and a Supercrew cab. It also has a 6 inch lift.

With that wide of a range of tongue weight and the lift of your F-150, I recommend the Reese Weight Distribution w/out Shank item # RP66021. This system works with trailer's weighing up to 8,000 lbs and tongue weights within the range of 400 lbs - 800 lbs. This might be a little stiff with your boat trailer but any lower on the bottom end will put you below the effective range for your camper.
For a shank that will work with your truck's 6" lift you will need the 9" Drop Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank item # EQ90-02-4400. This shank is compatible with the Reese system and will get your trailer level with your lifted truck.
This system does not include a hitch ball. Since you have two trailer's with different sized hitch balls you will need both a 2" Hitch Ball item # A-90 and a 2-5/16" hitch ball item # C40030. The convertible hitch balls like item # 902B will not work with weight distribution systems so you will have to swap out the ball every time you pull a different trailer.
To use a weight distribution system on a boat trailer you will most likely need the Reese Pole-Tongue Adapter for Weight Distribution Systems item # RP58393. This mounts to the straight-tongue of your boat trailer and provides mounting points for the chain hangers.
I recommend verifying with your boat trailer's manufacturer that you can use a weight distribution system with the trailer.
