Will Yakima MajorShady 270 Awning Fit with Rhino-Rack Sunseeker and Batwing Awning Mounting Bracket
Question:
Will the dimensions of the holes on this bracket mount to the Yakima Major Shady 270 awning?
asked by: Ed
Expert Reply:
The Yakima MajorShady 270 Awning # Y82AV mounting channels are 4-1/2" apart while the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker and Batwing Awning Mounting Bracket # RR43259 has the furthest holes spaced out 4" apart so these aren't able to be used together.
You can mount the MajorShady 270 on a roof rack via the T-Slots or to one of the Yakima LockNLoad platforms, like part # Y05045-39, though. Basically as long as the T-Slots fit standard accessories and are perpendicular to the direction of travel you'll be good to go!
