I want to add a brake controller to my 2024 Santa Cruz what all do I need?

The first thing you will need to install on your 2024 Santa Cruz is a 4-way. For that you will need the Curt # C59236. This will connect directly to your vehicle wiring using the included quick splices. Once you have the 4-way installed, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. The kit comes with the wiring, breakers, and adapter required to upgrade from a 4-way to a 7-way.
Then for a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. This is a reliable brake controller that won't take up a lot of space in the cab of your vehicle. The main unit installs behind the dash so only the control knob is visible. The knob allows you to adjust the braking power and also acts as the manual override. The # RED69FR wiring harness will also be required for installation.
