Recommended Winch For Pulling a Boat Lift Up 40' Of Beach

Question:

Have a boat lift that weighs about 1000 lbs. Will be on 4 wheels but when it gets to the beach it is sand and is hard to move. Last year we did it with my DLB1500A Brake Winch, but it was a real struggle. Was looking at the DL3200a and the DL2500 pulling winch. What would you suggest or should i consider electric winch? Have to move it about 40 feet up on the beech with a slight incline. Thank you

Using a ComeUp UW-5000si Trailer Winch # CU645010 is going to be the easiest way to pull your boat lift on the beach. This winch includes 50' of synthetic rope and is rated for up to 5,000lbs pulling for a static load. It also uses a wireless remote allowing for simple operation. If you prefer a hand winch I recommend the Dutton-Lainson # DL14881 since it is a 2-speed winch. It also has a manually controlled hand brake which will allow you to easily stop the winch from unspooling. You will need to add the Winch Cable # FWC7500100 since this winch does not include a cable.
