Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation that is Easy to Connect and Disconnect from Trailer

I have the RP30061 mounted on my 07 2500HD classic silverado CCSB with a 30071 hitch. Im hoping to find a double-pivot upgrade that doesnt require new under-bed mounting and hopefully minimizes cost as Ive gotten stuck and irritated trying to hitch on unlevel terrain more times than I care to continue. Would the RP30073 mount to my 30071 hitch in place of the current head? The double-pivot and dual-jaw would be a welcome step up and this RP30073 is quite affordable!

The Reese part number RP30073 is a now discontinued under bed rail kit and not a fifth wheel hitch like it sounds like you are looking for. With that said since you are wanting a hitch that has a pivot built into the head and allows for an easier connection and disconnection the B and W Patriot part # BWRVK3255 would be a really great option. This is an American made hitch that is big favorite because of how well it's made and how easy it is to use. It would be a lot easier to connect and disconnect from than your current hitch as it has a double pivoting head.
