Recommended Shock Kit to Use w/ a Dexter Over-Under Conversion Kit
Question:
Shock question, I have a 2002 Jayco Eagle 285BHS. I flipped the springs to ride level on a new truck with a Dexter K71-385-00 kit and would like to know what shocks to put back on? Do I even need shocks? What do you recommend?

Since you used the Over-Under Conversion Kit item # K71-385-00 you'll need two of the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit item # LC281281. This shock kit has 13-1/2" extended length shocks that are designed for 3" axles mounted below the leaf springs.
I have linked a diagram below that will show you how these shocks mount.
This shock kit will improve your ride quality and even help with sway. With the higher ride height of your 5th wheel trailer I do think adding these will be a noticeable benefit.
