Parts Needed to Add Brakes to Trailer with 2,200 lb Axles
Question:
Would you be able to put together a cart with everything I need to add brakes to my trailer? As long as I have the right parts, I can get them installed. Well, that is where you come in. I have a 2005 Aliner Sport with the smaller 2200# axle, so know I need the 7 x 1.25 Electric Brake Assembly without parking brake-Dexter # K23-047-00 Left Hand side and # K23-048-00 Right Hand side , and a brake controller, for sure, right? Do I need hubs? Bearings? Anything else? Thank you so much for your help!

I can't put a cart together but I can help you pick out the correct parts to add brakes to your trailer and they will all be on this page for you to easily add to your cart. The brake assemblies part # 23-47-48 that you referenced are correct for the 2,200 lb axle on your 2005 Aliner Sport.
For a brake controller the P2 part # 90885 is a really solid option that works great and is very reliable. For a hub you would then need the part # 8-276-5 if you have a 4 lug wheel.
