Troubleshooting an Advent AC That Runs For a Few Minutes Then Cuts Off But the Compressor Runs Still
Question:
I just installed 2 advent ACACDOM150 in replacement for duo-therm 59136.521 with the electric kit 3106481.009 both AC units come on but only run for a couple minutes then the fans shut off and the compressor stays running. Could this be due to incompatibility of something?

You have all the right stuff to make the upgrade, but to me It sounds like your Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ACDOM150 is short cycling. This typically happens when the thermostat reads the temperature wrong, which can be caused by a couple of things.
If you notice that air is blowing directly into the thermostat, that is likely what is causing the issue and you'll want to re-direct the air away from it. It could also be caused by a frozen coil, which happens generally when it's humid, and when combined with the cold it will cause the coil to freeze; but this this can be fixed by just running the fan by itself.
The very last thing I can think of if everything else checked out is that you might have a faulty thermostat, but that would need to be verified by a certified technician.
