Does Curt Hitch Install Behind Bumper Panel on 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L

Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C96NR will sit behind the rear bumper panel on your 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Like the factory hitch, this will be completely hidden when the panel is in place.
If you plan on doing some towing, you will also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK39VR. This plugs into the connection points behind your tail lights. Once installed, you will have a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
