Complete Flat Towing Setup for a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport
Question:
I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler sport 2 door. The driver’s seat has a metal bracket at the front location where the seat electrical plug is attached. There doesn’t seem to be enough room for the invisibrake box. Can this metal bracket be removed to allow room? Does this bracket eliminate this potential location?

Although it may not look like enough room I can assure you the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 is going to fit.
The controller box is pretty small, measuring only 8-3/4" long x 8-3/4" wide x 2-3/4" tall, so unless you have less than 9" of room, this'll work just fine.
If for some reason you don't have the room because of the metal bracket, I'd make sure it's nothing important and make a judgement call on whether you can remove it or not. If you're unsure, you could always take it to a professional and have them install the system and they'd easily be able to make that call.
In any case, it does sound like you're flat towing your Jeep. If you don't have all the pieces to the puzzle yet, you're also going to need a set of tow bars like # RM-676, a base plate kit like # RM-521448-5, and a wiring kit like RM-154.
