4-Way for Trailer Wiring Where There is 5 Wires

Question:

I have a flat four pin connector on my trailer that has been destroyed. When I look back further in the line, I have five wires. Two are yellow, two are green, and one is white. What type of a flat 4 pin plug do I need to purchase to fix this trailer?

What you would want is a wishbone style 4-way kit like the part # 002402 to match the 4-way wiring on your trailer. One of the yellow wires is the running light circuit for the left side of the trailer and one of the green wires is the running light circuit for the right side. Most likely there's a brown stripe which would indicate this. But you might have to trace the wiring to verify this. The two brown wires of the # 002402 would go to these wires and the rest would match color for color.
