Can I Convert the Reese Sidewinder # RP16420 to a # RP61412 Sidewinder by using a Spacer Kit
Question:
Does the RP34FR and RP=61410 sidewinder have the RP-61300 rotating Turret on them? If they do, by adding the RP-61301 spacer kit on the RP-61300 rotating turret will it work on a Lippert 1116 pin box? The RP-61420 is for a Lippert 1621 pin box which is 12inch wide. The Lippert 1116 pin box is 12 1/2inch wide, so adding the spacer kit will make the RP-61420 sidewinder 12 1/2inch wide just like the Lippert 1116.

I spoke with my contact at Reece and he confirmed that the Sidewinder Fifth Wheel King Pins with Rotating Turrets # RP34FR and # RP61412 both come with the Rotating Turret # RP61300. By adding Spacer Kit # RP61301 to # RP34FR you will not end up with the same product as the # RP61412 because the latter has an air shock integrated and the former is rated for higher weight capacity.
