How to Best Upgrade a Landing Gear Motor on a 5th Wheel Trailer

I have a camper that I need a bigger Moyer for the landing gear. What size motor do I need to lift a 10,000 lb fifthwheel

Landing gear often times has certain motors that will fit. You can not always just switch out the motor to gain capacity or fitment. If you can let me know what landing gear you currently have, I can look further into if there is a compatible motor for your system that will fit your needs.

Otherwise, the most effective and certain way to upgrade the system is an entirely new system like the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC358590 for a 4-point system or the # LC675817 for a 6-point system.

Both of these systems can handle 5th-wheel trailers with a GVWR up to 15,500 lbs.
