Will The Access EZ-Retriever Help Prevent Items From Sliding Around In The Bed Of Truck

I have a 2022 Chevy Silverado with short bed. Will this work from side to side to keep items near the tailgate and are both ends rubberized to prevent slipping?

The Access EZ-Retriever # A50710 you were looking at is just a retrieval tool and would require the Access G2 Galvanized Truck Bed Storage Pockets # A60070 in order to hold items in place near the tailgate. Both ends of the tool are rubberized to prevent scratches when trying to grab items further in the bed.
A rubber mat like the Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat # W55XV would also help prevent items from shifting around in the bed. I have a ratcheting bar like part # 08908 in my Silverado and I prefer it over the Access one because you can place it wherever you want to hold larger or smaller items closer to the tailgate instead of the preset spacings that the pockets offer.
