Can I Install A Trailer Hitch On A 2024 Volkswagen Atlas?
Question:
Can a trailer hitch be mounted to the 2024 VW Atlas Cross Sport? Looking with the untrained eye, I see no mounting points. Thank you.

We do offer a trailer hitch for a 2023 Volkswagen Atlas # C24ER. We do not have fitment information for the 2024 models yet (August 2023). I am not aware of any major changes, but we cannot yet confirm fitment for a 2024 Atlas. We are hoping to have fitment information in the coming months.
That being said, the mounting points for the hitch are simply four small holes in the frame rail. Volkswagen adds an underbody coating to the bottom of the frame. Kind of like a hard foam. This is likely covering the holes. You will have to remove the underbody coating from a section of the frame rail in order to install a hitch. I have linked the manufacturer instructions below. Take a look at page 3 it has some really good pictures.
