It sounds like you are trying to go from a 5-pin flat connector on your 2017 Toyota Highlander to a 7-way connector on your Ranger boat trailer. This type of connector is not made since the 7-way wan only designed to be used on trailer that require either a charge line or electric actuated trailer brakes. If your boat trailer does not require either of these the simplest thing would be to change the trailer to a 5-Way Flat # HM47910. Otherwise you could create an adapter using the same 5-way flat wired to a 7-Way # C58155.
If your trailer requires a charge line or electric actuated brakes you can use the 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 to install a 7-way on your Highlander. This includes the wiring needed to install the charge line and a Brake Controller # RED52VR. This controller will mount on your dash in a blank switch panel using the Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-002.
Please let me know if you were needing something different.
