Recommended Replacement Rooftop AC Unit For A 2000 Coachmen Catalina Motorhome

I have a 2000 Coachman Catalina and need to replace the air conditioner - can you point me to the best one. I would like to have maybe something a little bigger than what is on it now to help keep it cool. Thanks,

There isn't a guide to tell us what your 2000 Coachmen Catalina currently has on it but we can certainly replace the rooftop unit of your air conditioning system. The most common BTU ratings for RV Air conditioners are 13,500 BTU's or 15,000 BTU's so for the best you'll want to go with a 15,000 BTU option. From there we'll just need to know what style plug your current unit has on its wire harness. The connector will either be 6-pin or 9-pin and can be found by removing the cover of the air distribution box and looking for the wire harness that hangs down and plugs into the controller.

Out of what we currently offer Furrion is going to be the best brand to go with. I've listed the replacement options below based on connector style and color of the shroud so that you can match the motorhome:

6-pin:
White # FR58PR
Black # FR86PR

9-pin:
White # FR42PV
Black # FR32PV
