Replacement for 4,400 lb Axle on 2018 Jayco White Hawk

Question:

I am looking for an axle assembly to replace a lippert V000314462. I can get away with a leftside hub and brake assembly for the same. Can you please help?

What you have is an 86" long axle with a 4,400 lb capacity. Since 4,400 lb axles are no longer being produced, you will need an axle with a higher capacity for a replacement. I recommend the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e45GR. This axle is 86-1/2" long so it will stick out an additional 1/4" on each side but that won't be a problem.

The spring seat measurement is also different. This means you will need to cut off the spring seats and weld on # TRSS300 to match your current 68-1/2" measurement. Since this is a 5,200 lb axle you will also need a new hub and drum assembly # 8-201-5UC3-EZ along with brakes # AKEBRK-7-SA. Keep in mind, this will not increase the capacity of your trailer.

If you decide you only want to replace the left side brake assembly it is the # LC96WD. However, it is best to replace these in pairs so you will also want the # LC46WD. Your current axle uses the standard 3,500 bearing combination so we do not have a hub and drum assembly that would fit with the proper rating. We only have 3,500 lb hub and drum assemblies like # AKHD-555-35-EZ-K. This would lower your capacity so I do not recommend using it as a replacement.

I have attached some installation videos below for your reference.
