What Bumper Can Be Used To Flat Tow A 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S And Hold A Winch  

Question:

I bought a 2020 Wrangler unlimited sport s jeep. I have a road master Tracker serial # 1018416 tow bar and full length attachment bar. I want to get a winch and be able to flat tow my jeep. Since i will probably need a new bumper for the winch, what type would work for me so I can use the equipment I already have? Thank You

In my experience most of the bumpers that allow for a winch block the ability to install a baseplate, unless you get a bumper with D-Ring mounts that is approved for flat towing. It's very hard to find a bumper that's rated for flat towing so I recommend reaching out to Smittybilt since they are one company that I've seen rate their bumpers for flat towing. From there you can use a D-Ring adapter like part # RM-035 (3/4" thick D-Rings) or # RM-035-1 (1" thick D-Rings) along with a Roadmaster tow bar like the Falcon # RM-522.

The Tracker tow bar you have unfortunately isn't going to be compatible with most bumpers, especially ones with a winch mount.
