Best Way to Connect Truck Camper 6-Way Pin to Truck 7-Way Connector

Question:

I have an early 2000s truck camper with a round power connector to hook up to the truck. It is a 6 pin round but looks like a 7 pin round with one pin blank. I have a standard 7pin flat blade in there truck body. Do you have a power cord to work with this? Have never seen as plug like this but I have a similar round pin on the bumper of the truck and it looked like it was used for a horse trailer. I can send a photo if that helps.

It sounds like you have a Lance truck bed camper. Lance came out with their own specialized 6-Pin which can be frustrating as it doesn't match with any standard connectors and there aren't any adapters so we typically recommend just replacing it with a standard 7-Way like the Hopkins # H20043. This way the camper wiring matches easier with other connectors.

All you have to do is cut off the Lance connector and match the functions on the 7-Way and you'll be good to go!

I'm attaching an installation video as well as a photo with the wiring code for this connector that you can referenced.
