Can 53" Thule Crossbars Fit On A 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness

Question:

The thule recommended set of crossbars for a 2023 Subaru forester wilderness are 50” long. I am wondering if the 53” lengths will also fit. I want to fit a SUP lying flat and a kayak in a J-rack. Can you please confirm that the 53” thule wing bar evo will indeed fit a 2023 Subaru forester wilderness edition? Thanks.

Unfortunately Thule only recommends using the 50" aero bars because there isn't enough room in the feet tracks on the bottom of the crossbars to accommodate the longer length. Rhino-Rack has a 54" crossbar length that is confirmed to fit your 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness to give you the extra space you need to haul your SUP and kayak. You'll need the following components:
