How is Winch Strap of Fulton F2 Winch Accessed to Remove it.
Question:
How do I replace the strap on a Fulton 2? Does the drum come out? I took off the side place but cant access the nut to remove the bar that holds the strap in place.

On a Fulton F2 winch like the part # FW16000101 you will need to remove the covers on the sides and back with a Torx T25 bit. There won't be tools needed to slide out the pin that holds the drum in place. Once it's out two 1/2 inch sockets/wrenches will be needed to remove the bolt that seats the strap.
If it's a version of the winch that does not have the side black panels you'll need to separate the housing instead by removing the lower bolts on the base of the winch.
