How to Upgrade From 10K to 12K Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have the equilizer 1000 tongue 10,000 can I upgrade to 1200 tongue and 12000. Do I need to change how the truck is set up now.

To upgrade your 10K Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37100ET to the 12K # EQ37120ET you need the following:
- 12K Replacement Head # EQ90-02-1200
- 12K Replacement Spring Bars # EQ90-01-1299
Since these are a bit heftier you may need to adjust the setup of the system, but if you just walk through the installation instructions again you'll be able to ensure everything is setup correctly and make any necessary adjustments.
