Can a New Fulton Bolt-Thru Jack Be Used in Place of an Older Jack with a Weld-On Bracket

Question:

I have a Fulton jack with a weld on bracket. I need to replace the jack assembly 17 years old. It appears that the opening for the bolt and bushing have worn over the years and allows the jack to lean off center. The bolt on the swivel is 3/8. Can I take the mounting bracket off this Jack and mount it to my existing welded on bracket? Existing bracket, bolt and bushing are in good condition.

Expert Reply:

Yes, since your current Fulton jack is a bolt-thru style, you can use the Fulton XLT Bolt-Thru Swivel Trailer Jack # F26ZR with your current welded on bracket.

You just need to remove the jack from the included bolt-on bracket and mount it to your welded bracket like you mentioned.
