Do Firestone Air Bags Need to Be Disconnected When Truck is Placed on Lift

Question:

Ive recently installed these on my 2013 Chevy 2500HD. I installed them while my truck was on a lift, and I had to lower the truck to the ground to get the axle close enough for the top and bottom brackets of the airbag to be installed. My question is - will I have to disconnect the airbags the next time my truck goes on a lift? Seeing that my axle s lower than the springs naturally extend will leaving them on while lifting the truck up stretch or rip the spring? Or are the designed to withstand this stress?

You will not need to disconnect your Firestone # F2613 when you put your 2013 Chevy 2500 on a lift. We have previously confirmed this with Firestone. The air bags are well built and able to handle that additional stress without any issues.
