Determining The Correct Replacement Steps And Stabilizer Jacks For A 1998 Jayco Eagle 12UDK

Question:

Hello looking for some insights for 2 products for my 1998 Jayco eagle 12Udk. The first is an entry step. It has the 2 holes that go into the frame. Would like something that retracts and sturdy. The 2nd is a replacement stabilizer jack , which unfortunately ped down and fell out. Much appreciated.

To replace the entry steps you'll need to measure the mounting bracket width and the entry height. I've attached an article below that will walk you through this process step by step. Once we know the entry height and bracket width we can pick out the correct steps. Pull out steps typically have a bit of give to them so you'll want to pick up a stabilizer like the Solid Stance # LC96BJ or go with TorkLift GlowSteps like part # TLA8102, which have landing gears.

As for the stabilizer jack, you'll just need to level your trailer and measure the distance from the ground to the frame to determine the correct height need for your trailer. The Stabilizer Jack # TJ01RT you were looking at adjusts from 11-1/2" to 18" in height.
