Will a Separate Wire Need to Be Run and Spliced In for Reverse Light Function

This will give us reverse light functionality from the same T-harness for turn signals, correct? No other splicing needed?

Yes, you are correct. The Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # 22112 will provide you with reverse light functionality without having to run and splice in a separate wire for the reverse lights.
I have included an installation video that goes over the installation process and you can see that there is not a separate wire for the reverse light functions.
