Troubleshooting Screws in Roof Rack Not Tightening or Loosening
Question:
The screw used to tighten the rack and secure it to the car won’t tighten or lossen. This is the case with both of my foot pads. Any ideas on how to get this unstuck.

It sounds like you may have some sort of corrosion or substance which has caused the bolts inside your feet to seize. You can try using some penetrating oil to free the bolts otherwise you may have to replace your feet along with the fit kit for your vehicle.
