Load Range E Tire and Wheel Recommendation for a 2013 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite Travel Trailer

Question:

I have 205/75d14s on my 2013 wildwood xlite travel trailer. I would like to put a heavier rated tire on it, at least D rated. Can I put a 15s on it? The best I can find for 14s is 8 ply or D rated. Id like at least 10 ply.

You can definitely upgrade to a larger tire size as long as you have at least 4" of clearance above your current tire. For a 10-ply tire you need a Load Range E rating which is only available on a larger size tire like ST225/75R15. Here are the tire and wheel that I recommend for your 2013 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite Travel Trailer:

- Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10303
- Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel # AM20522

This white wheel should be pretty identical to what initially came on your trailer, but if you'd like a different style I'm linking our selection of 15" wheels with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern that will pair with the Kenda tire I mentioned above.
