Question:
Hello I have a AL KO 3500 axles on my trailer I need brake plates and bearings etc. How does AKEBRK-35-SA compare to the Dexter? Thinking I’ll go back with self adjusting? Also are the BK2-100 the correct bearings appears to be right Thanks

I feel our etrailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA is a great option and many have commented on how well they stand up to the test of time. With the much lower price of our brakes over the Dexter # 23-468-469 it also allows you to just replace the complete assemblies rather than just replacing pads, springs or magnets to make the Dexter more affordable in the future as all the parts will wear out on either system.
The Bearing Kit # BK2-100 is the correct kit for AL-KO 3,500lb axle utilizing the #84 spindle. As some very old axles used a different spindle you might want to check your current bearings if you have a older trailer.
