Will Spare Tire Fit With etrailer Hitch on 2020 Infiniti QX60
Question:
Thanks for asking my previous question Robin H. I prefer the hidden hitch etrailer offers for my 2020 QX60. I am concerned however if the spare tire will fit in the space after the installation of the e73AR. There is not much room from the spare tire to the bumper. I watched the video and noticed that the hidden bumper requires removal of the spare prior to install and the other ones you offer that have part of the bar exposed does not.

You will be able to keep your spare tire mounted under the vehicle following the installation of the etrailer # e73AR. The spare tire will need to be lowered or temporarily removed to install the hitch. Once the hitch is installed, you won't have any issues putting it back into place. The only exception would be if you added some kind of aftermarket spare with an oversized tire.
Temporary removal or lowering of the spare is very common for hitch installation. The reason you don't see that on the # 76031 is because the cross tube sits below everything. That also means a loss of clearance and you have to look at that cross tube hanging down at the back. With the concealed cross tube you have to get the tire out of the way to get the hitch into position because it sits up behind the fascia.
I have attached a picture below which shows the spare reinstalled with the hitch in place. This is the Curt # C13126 hitch but the design and installation are identical.
