Expert Reply:
For a 2-5/16" ball with a 1" diameter shank, and the highest capacity/longest shank, we have the B&W # BWHB94001. This has a 2-1/2" long shank and a capacity of 12,000 lbs. This has heat-treated steel and a raw finish.
For the same length shank but slightly less capacity at 8,000 lbs we also have the stainless steel Brophy # SC30-C. For a more budget friendly ball we have the Curt # C40007. This has a 2-1/4" long shank and a 10,000 lb capacity.
