Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For Carrying a Thule Bike Rack On 2020 Jeep Cherokee

Hi I have 2020 Jeep Cherokee Being given Thule bike rack. Won’t be trailing anything else but bikes. What type of hitch should I purchase ? Thanks

I recommend installing our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e73ZR on your 2020 Jeep Cherokee. This has a 2" opening allowing you to carry your Thule bike rack. I prefer this receiver as the matte black finish I feel gives a cleaner more factory appearance as it blends in best with the fascia paneling.

I also recommend installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 with the receiver. This gives you a 4-way flat connector which will also allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 and not just for towing. The auxiliary lights are often required since several bikes have large wheels and tires which can impair the view of the tail lights.
