Is there a Heavy Duty Damper Shock Available for Titan Brake Actuators?

Question:

I have a Titandico arrow surge brake actuator for my oat trailer. The total weight is 5900 lbs with 580 pounds toungue weight. I bought a new damper in the spring and it worked well for most of the fishing season. After a couple hard brakes due to traffic, ect, the shock damper isnt as affective. The clunk when stopping and going isnt as bad as before, but getting worse. My question is. Do you know of a heavy duty one that will last? The one im looking at right now as a replacment is the Replacement Shock Absorber for Dexter Model 60 Brake Actuators Item # T2336200. I believe the extended is 6 1/2 and compressed 4 15/16 at the center mounting holes. Any help would be great. Thanks

The Replacement Shock Absorber for Dexter Model 60 Brake Actuators # T2336200 you're looking at is a direct replacement for the Dexter Model 60 actuators, so if you have this actuator this is going to be the correct replacement.

As far as a heavy duty replacement, there is not going to be one to prevent people from overloading their actuators.

Theoretically, if you were to find a shock that has the same dimensions as your current one and has a higher capacity it could be used, but if something were to go wrong Dexter might not cover it under warranty.
