Parts Needed to Add 4-Way and 7-Way to 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I have a 2017 chevy silverado true north edition. I need a 7 and 4 way trailer connecter truck side with a wiring harness. Could you send a link to the right part or direct me to it please. Also are your parts oem

Your 2017 Silverado 1500 should have a factory wiring harness to allow you to install a 4-way and 7-way. Right now there should be a knockout/cover where the connector would be. Check behind the knockout and you should find the wiring harness attached. This will allow you to install the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket # HM40975 which will fit where the knockout was. In this case the connector is the OEM part.
I have attached an installation video below for your reference. You will see the knockout with the wiring harness starting at the 1:20 mark in the video.
