Troubleshooting A Go Power Inverter Charger That Won't Charge The Batteries Over 12.5 Volts  

Question:

Just installed new trojan 6 volt deep cell batteries in series I can get everything to work but cant get past 12.5 volts and they will not charge either by truck or shore power or even battery charge to 100 . they are hook up to a 1750 watt inverter. how do you check the inverter

Poor grounding can lead to a drop in voltage so I would first check your ground connection on the Inverter/Charger # 34275013 to see if that is the cause. You could also have the max charge rate set to 12.5 volts so I would go through your settings on the controller to ensure that you have it set high enough to fully charge the batteries. To check the output voltage from the charger you can use a multimeter # PT89ZR on the positive cable to the battery to see the voltage going to it.
