Can F78-14 be Replaced with 205/75-14
Question:
I have a old bumper pull holiday trailer that came with F78-14 S.T. tires on a 4 bolt wheel and old hub/brake assembly. i am planning on buying 205/75-14 ST tires in load rating C. 4 tires on the trailer, trailer will weight around 5600lbs fully loaded we estimate cant get a good weight as we cant really tow on current tires Can i put the new tires onto 4 bolt wheels? is there any laws/restrictions on using 4 bolt hubs/wheels? asking because everything i see is now 5 6 8 bolt or more! Thanks! attached photos are current tires/wheel

Expert Reply:
The F78-14 tire size is the exact same as the tire size 205/75-14 that you mentioned. So yes you can replace what you have now with that size like with the part # AM10235.
That we are aware of there aren't any laws restricting the use of the hub style you have.
