You should not have a problem installing the Tekonsha P3 Proportional Brake Controller # 90195 with Ford Super Duty Adapter, # 3034-P, in your F-450 truck. The biggest problem is that when removing your factory brake controller you will get a fault code on the dash that will not go away until you take the truck to the dealer and have the PCM (Power-Train Control Module) flashed so that the vehicle does not look for the factory controller on start up. Otherwise, the installation will require the removal of the access panel in the center of the dash on the passenger side, removal of the old brake controller and connection of the new brake controller wiring harness, to the mating connector that was connected to the factory brake controller. Once this is done route the wiring to the selected mounting position under the dash and install the new brake controller.
