Weight distribution systems are chosen based off of tongue weight, which is typically 10% - 15% of your trailer's total weight. Your 4,700 lbs trailer would have a tongue weight range of 470 lbs - 705 lbs. With this in mind, I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control item # FA94-00-0800. This system has a tongue weight range of 400 lbs - 800 lbs which would great with your trailer.

The Fastway e2 item # FA94-00-0800 has built in sway control that will keep your trailer in line with your 1/2 ton truck while you are going down the highway. This is especially helpful when you make sudden moves or get passed by a semi. Included with this system is a 2" shank and a 2" hitch ball.

I have linked an installation and review video below so you can see the functions of this system and how to get it set up. Please feel free to email me directly with any additional questions.

I would not recommend the Curt MV Weight Distribution System item # C17050 you were looking at. It does not have sway control or a hitch ball and the capacity is well below what you will need. It'll be essentially useless if you are even close to 4,000 lbs and have weight towards the front of your trailer or on the tongue.
